Good day. I'm new to this forum and I would like to ask a question about the ignition switch of the MK2.
I'm about to buy a pre-owned Renault Thalia (face looks like Clio MK2 but sedan) the entire car is good and the only problem is the ignition switch. I checked with the mechanic and he told me that it needs replacement.
I can hear a clicking sound but it won't turn or start. I have to try several times before making it turn and start and I'm sure the battery is not weak or dead.
Can anybody tell me if I can buy a replacement of the ignition switch? Can I buy this from a chop shop in UK or only new?
By the way, I'm here in Saudi Arabia.
