Hi all.
For those of you with paid membership im trying to follow Daves very helpful guide here:

For those of you without its basically a guide written to modify Mk2 Ph1 standard headlights into dual optic ones found on sports models.
Anyway so i started stripping my old headlights out on Saturday working my way through the guide then i noticed something wrong. I need some help/advice from someone with electrical knowledge. In Daves guide he mentions:
Which from my understanding is this:
Make sense so far? Good.
Heres my problem however. I popped open my fusebox and heres what i find:
As you can see the slot where the fuse is supposed to be inserted is empty. Sure i could put a fuse in it but whats the use when theres no metal connectors to hold it securely. I would imagine putting a fuse into an empty plastic slot is kinda useless?
So basically where does this leave me. Am i missing something stupidly obvious or does it look like Daves comment about "all clios have the wiring ready" isnt quite spot on?
Cheers.

Fuse:
In order to make the low beam stay on with the high beam a fuse has to be added to the fusebox, all clios have the wiring ready, you just need to pop the fuse into position. This is also required to pass a MOT. The fusebox is on the drivers side on the end of the dash (open the door) clip off the panel. The position to add the fuse is where it says dual headlights in the manual, the symbol is a light with 3 straight lines next to it.
