mk2 ph2 better then a mk3

ive been driving my mk3 over a year now i still get to drive a mk2 ph2
i will openly admit to prefering driving the ph2 :S over my own clio

i want another ph2 :banghead:



i cant see a set of ebachs doing much to improve it :dapprove:

daydotz agreed!. I had a set of 16s with 215/16/40s on my mk2 ph2 and the handling was immense! but i still like my mk3..

I think the 197 is very nice looking but i would still pick a 182 over one

I've driven a couple of ph2's and they are def better for cornering than the mk3, but apart from that I prefer the mk3

Shut up!!!! I have regular access to a 182 and have a 197. I also used to own a 172 Cup, and 182. For general refinement/build the MK3 is Miles ahead. The 182 looks dated next to my MK3, its time to move on chaps......

Which mk3 you on about? Standard or RS?

Non Rs i do prefere the mk2 ph2, my old 1.4 16v was good fun compared to the 1.2t i drove, was more fun and just felt better. But my R27 feels so much better in everyway compared to my 182. I drove a 182 not long ago, it still is a really good drive dont get me wrong, but you notice the hike in refinement in the new RS, handling etc. I didnt even notice any more tourqe low down in the 182 either, me thinks my one has bedded in well now (23k on the clock). Rapid!

I thrashed the pants off the bint that lives two doors down..she has a mk3 57 plate.
but it does have to carry her big head about I suppose..hehe.
mines only a 1.2 16v mk2 ph2 and she really tried to get up my butt..but my baby left her ..was sooooo cool.
