Mk2 Phase 1 Ashtray puzzle

I was emptying the ashtray in my car of assorted bits of rubbish, when I dropped the thing and the spring flew off! I have been trying for the last 30mins and I can't figure out how the spring went, so if someone could do me a big favour and take a picture of one with the spring fitted, that would be awesome!

This would be awesome.. Mine's been broken for months. Surprisingly complicated aint it, you think right well that's gotta go there and then that goes in there and then it just never works whatever way round you put it. Good ol' French.
