Thanks for the reply, which coilovers would you say go for? Or does it not really matter or is it worth while saving for a specific set?
I had mine on H&R monotubes (Specific for the GT). They were about £1k. Plus £120 for camber setup. I also had 20mm spacers (Get 25mm, trust me the extra 5 mm is needed) and H&R TC212 Camber bolts set as far as they would go. My coilovers were set as low as possible. Which for looks, IMO, is the best height for the GT as the arch gap is frankly shocking. With it being so low it didnt handle as well as it could have but I had it set at max ride height once and it was much better over back roads. Up until the struts got damaged from pot holes (No travel because it was so low) it still handled pretty well but I think thats because it had very little power. Power didnt outweigh the chassis etc. Which made it huge fun. Could do silly speeds round tight twisty backroads, I did some shocking things in that car when I was younger.
You can get an ITG pannel filter. If i remember correctly it shares the same airbox as the Clio 197.
Guy called Jens89 (I think) had a GT so check his threads out. You can see my s**tty threads scattered about or check my photobucket out as theres plenty of photos of the GT.
Really wanted 17" Turinis in anthracite to finish it off but felt that my cash would be better spent elsewhere - booze, clothes etc. The ride could have been taken up an inch or so I would imagine the handling would have improved.
