Mk3 Side Strips

How in the hell do you get these damn things off i read the guid on the Mk2s and ive only tryed the stip on the side not the door but the damn thing wont budge at all am i missing something, i pushed it towards the front of the car and the thing aint moving.....anyone got some tips ???

take the screw out that holds it in, that might be a good place to start....

So the rears have a screw in it then ?? meaning ill have to take off the rear card ??
