mk3 wobble after fitting spacers

  1.2 TCE
Hi,

last weekend i fitted 25mm (delta mics) hubcentric spacers to all four wheels.

looks good and i am happy with the appearance etc.

But...... i am getting a bit of wobble at the wheel between 60.-65mph.

Any speed under and over this mark is fine.

my tracking is ok, and i got my wheels re-balanced today. But didn't sort it.

Can anyone give me some advice pleease?

Sounds like the spacers aren't flat. Assuming you got all the bits you need (longer bolts etc).

yeah all bits included.

They are the spacers that you bolt to the hub, then put your wheels onto that.

Definately the kit for the car.

i will do that first thing tomorrow.

i will be back online tomorrow night to let you know how i got on.

Cleaned em up this morning......... & still got the wobble.

i'm all out of ideas.

i really don't want to have to take them off

Take them off ... see if the wobble is there once it's back to standard. At least that way you know its the new kit and you can ask for a replacement assuming the hubs are all clear / clean / flat !?

If it's still wobbling without the spacers on, then you got an egg shaped wheel

:(

Just a quick question rather then start a new thread, is it worth getting the tracking done once you have fitted Spacers? I have also just fitten 25mm spacers as above, feel ok though?
