MK5 Golf

Another stolen thread

Well i bought this GTI in 2008 used it for a bit then decided to Pimp its ass in time for UK show Ultimate Dubs 2009.

It went down pretty well in truth with 5 Magazine features and 3 Magazine covers but after the summer 09 i decided to sell it fund a mk6 gti, so of it went to Ireland.

The cars new owner got in contact and offered me it back at a crazy price so it would have been rude to turn him down (sadly mrs x5pea didnt see it that way):laugh: and off i went to Ireland with a bag of money

Heres a quick history in pictures...... Enjoy !

Now that its back with me I've decided to raise the bar on it and give it a bit of a make over. The green is staying, the rims getting a full polish and a full interior over haul, original seats have gone and some Carrera GT seats are going in after a retrim, with a custom cage, painted floor and plenty of carbon fibre.

Hopefully it will all be done in the next 2 weeks in time for uk show DC10, progress so far.....

Im extremely happy with how its looking at the moment, its far from finished but by next weekend it should be pretty much in one piece, just need to re paint the floor and fix the boost and steering issues then tidy up the wiring and pipework.

Plenty more carbon and trimming i wanna do before edition and it really needs re paint to get it up to standard but i think that can wait till over the winter.

Amazing!! Even i like that. In Onyx Black or Dolphin Grey it would be Perfect.

I'm not a massive fan of the modding scene but W.O.W

That is one impressive car I think because all the touches are nice and not too in your face.

I'd like to see how he made that rear number plate recess!

Taken a knock to the head this weekend? ;)

Looks sort of OEM+ if you had to sum it up, it's almost what a manufacturer might kick out if someone was allowed a little more freedom to produce something in your face.

As above re the colour. I don't understand why people put so much work in and then basically ruin it (in my eyes) with such a sheet colour!

That aside, love it!

Was at Alton Towers so it's entirely possible.
