Modded my Bora lights.. opinions?

Today I have mostly been stripping my car apart..I've done what's known as the joey mod on vw's. I guess joey did it first..haha! I'm not 100% on them though so would be good to get the view of the non bbs bumming crew.

Thanks guys. I did them in high temp mat black as I didn't think too dark would suit the red car? I could repeat the whole process in under a hour now though if I wanted..Tbh it's when it's a bit darker outside you notice it more. That's the booming mid day sun haha

Makes the grille look more pronounced which messes with my mind.

I did this on my ph2 megane, but in pearl black to match the bodywork and laquer,
made a huge difference on the front of that.
