Modding a 1.2

Well ive got the 1.2 16v and because of the free insurance i cant touch her until November. But ive got a few ideas for the exterior / interior but to be honest im a bit stupid on all the engine mods. Could any body point me in the right direction?? What would you recommend being the best way to mod your engine on a little 1.2? Also what sort of prices would i be looking at?

cant think of much else without serious/expensive work. Check out BB tuning as they do a couple of packages that include the basics

All the bits are prices are on there. The best one is one with a sticker so you can be spotted by other member and to spread the club. Also you get discounts with tuning and ice companies and unlimited posts on the forum, i think the forum user status limits the amount you can post.

Its something to do with paypal. But with the exchange rate so good at the moment it makes it cheaper to join the club, so no excuses now!

You can mod the exterier of the car under the free insurance. You can also get away with lowering it you just need to talk to the rght people there some will write it in as a visual mod ie not performance so keep ringing thm up.

As for modifications best drop a bigger engine in there IMO either a GTT for £2000 for a reasonable one or a 1.8 16V for £1400 you can mod the 1.2 engine but the power gains arnt massive you can do all the normal stuff IK exhaust remap etc but at best you will get 100hp. There is a turbo kit comming out apparently but its going to be about 3k fitted.

Ah right, cheers lads. Im from London by the way. 1.8 16v sounds good but its a lot of money for a student. I was told it was literally NO MODIFICATIONS as i dont own the car. I bought it on HP so not sure where i stand with that. As soon as i have a pay pal account i will sign up.
