Greenlight were good for me.

you have to be over 21 and have 1 yrs no claims tho - dont think they charge much either if anything for new mods

Norwich union for me but only my ik( WHich is now taken off!) and it being lowered have been declared. Been told they only allow 3 mods. Ive found that i've always beaten the net quotes by phoning round and haggling.

Greenlight.... dont charge me a penny extra for my zaust, suspension and filter.

plus we get ClioSport discount with them. :approve:

And they dont have a recorded message when you phone them either, you speak to a real life english human being, which counts for a lot in my book.

Peart Assurance, based out of Ireland, being a fellow old git these guys are amazing, they insured my 944 turbo (group 20) for under a grand and I was paying around £500 a year on my VR6 which had been, chipped, lowered, put up on 17in rims, K and N air fliters, new induction kit, custom built bumpers etc etc.

As long as it has an alarm and an imobilser on it they will give you the best deal going, when I was insuring my Porsche they quoted £600 less than the nearest rival, I have had all my cars insured with them for the last 5 years cause I know there going to beat 90% of the oppostion and they specialise in performance cars.

When I went to insure my 172 cup (switching it over from my golf) they came back and told me that they owed me money! which is always nice to hear!

HIC are good, they give me £1500 worth of mods without upping my premium and also allow you to increase engine performance up to 10% filter/zorst. Anything after that is very reasonably priced aswell.

  MKIII 138
greenlight charge an admission fee of £17 but my bro is 21 has 3points and not full claims but they charged noting other than the admin fee for his 185hp jabbas vrs with a fair few mods !! cheap as chips.

when i start modding the cup if norwich unsion dont like bucket seats then il be with green light.

Just tried to get a quote from Green light and got this response

"Additional Information:
Due to poor claims performance we do not currently cover the 172 "Cup" model for
new business clientele"

Cooll i'll give them a phone on Monday - Just got my renewal in from HIC £130 :D then they add renewal premium and some other premium taking it up to £176.50 0 i know its cheap but im a tight Scotsman

They dont charge new customers a renewal fee or even a set up fee , this really bugs me I'm penalised for being an existing customer
