I think they are wrapped but I have never seen any that dark before? Is It a legal tint?

Hmm, I doubt it as it does look extremely dark but I couldn't give you a definitive answer as I'm not sure on the law of light tints.

Yeah I guess it's a bit sketchy the law on lights, but I would guess aslong as the light emitted is still clear it should be ok?

Maybe they used Lamin-x on the rear lights. You can get a really dark film and the light still shines through the right colours.

The splitter looks like it's off an aftermarket bodykit and they've omlt used the splitter.

Looks like you are on to something with the splitter and that film sounds interesting I might have to look into that!

I used Lamin-x on my Impreza and if you take your time you can fit it with no air bubbles and it can look decent. It's better than all the cheaper copies too so worth paying the extra.

The only legal issue might be the reflectors as they're built into the light unit so they'd still need to reflect after the film or tint is applied. Of course it depends how well you know your MOT tester whether it's an issue or not!

Sounds like a good idea is it easy to fit as I have never done any wrapping ever haha and also I suppose with the clio rear lights you can pick up a pair from the bay for £10 so easy to swap for mot haha

yeah, they have a direct site for the stuff, just google lamin-x.
if you do get some make sure you buy it oversize so you can trim it back to fit.
not sure if they do an actual kit for a Clio.

Hopefully you're researching exactly what modifications not to do to your car... tints are so 10 years ago and look pretty damn awful!

He doesn't have to respect this opinion just as much as you don't respect his.

OP, do what you want to your car!

Thanks I appreciate the support :)

Tbh I read it too much on forums where people down vote mods, but it is down to personal opinion what fun would it be to turn up to a clio tuning event and find all the cars factory standard!?

That's pretty much what does happen lol! It's always nice to see something different though especially when someone has put time and effort into it.

They will look completely crap, don't do it! You'll call them different etc, we'll all say they look sh*t.
Plus the po po will be pulling you a lot as it'll be hard to get the red lights etc to show through.

The lights look awful. Proper chav tastic.

But if that's what you want then I'm sure you could do them with some kind of film.

Splitter looks a little odd but I'm sure it's not too bad.
