everyones entitled 2 an opinion but theres some cars i dont like on here, that doesn't give me the green light 2 attack someones hard work. like i said im changing the front bumper, never really worked anyway!
aint really a modified car website, if it aintt engine/brake/suspension mods, its s**t basically and everyone will jump on the i hate bodykit bandwagon but will w**k themselves silly over a plastic coated clio V6
horses for corses, i think a lot of modified cars look great, usually jap cars pull it off better, euro cars suit the euro look better, all smooth
if this was 1995 (which it isnt) then i would like it.... but its not.... so i dont. sorry. the wheels are ok i suppose. and i agreee that the colour is good...
Thanks for the positive comments guys, it didnt actually cost me much to do, just a first attempt so didnt wanna spend a fortune i.e - the wheels where £100 off ebay, sprayed them silver and just found the TSW centre plates for £1.04 so theyre now on. the rear spoiler is an Impreza one cut and joined in the middle, the skirts are just clipped onto the standard ones and can be removed with one bolt for the dreaded mot ramp, the rear bumper was £40 and also comes off in no time. The front bumper is going as soon as I find a standard sport one! The wheels are no longer going gold, theyre staying silver! Thanks for the photoshop - looks amazing (to me)!
You've gotta love this forum.
Someone like the OP comes along and contributes to the community and is instantly flamed for not fitting cup spoiler/splitter, silver visions, turinis and trendlines.
The next person comes along with all of the above and gets flamed for being a sheep.
Pee4sure your car is certainly not to my taste but I congratulate you for doing what you have and achieving a decent finish (Although not finished).
As many have said it's your car so enjoy it.
thanks, i can take it with a pinch of salt, maybe this was the wrong site to put my car on, its on other sites where its getting good remarks and people are looking forward to seeing the end result. its an unfinished project, im going to get things wrong, break things, change my mind etc but that was the plan.. try my hand at something new. ive taken the grilling and also taken in what people have said hence why the front bumper is going back standard, most people where right it doesn't work. most of you seem to shudder at the sight of a body kit but this site has a body kit section? it will look better soon!
If you like it keep it like that don't do what everyone else wants you to do its your car! I'm not a fan IMO, the only car's i think suit bodykits is jap cars. But if you want a different aftermarket front bumper why not get standard ph1 arches so it will fit?
you know what? i never even thought of that! i do like the standard front bumper just think it needs something, i never fell in love with the one thats on, just experimenting. i dont think i'll put a pic of the rear up, its a smoothed boot and the guys will probably think its the work of the devil! thanks for the tip.
