Modifying and Insurance

  Civic Type -R FN2
If i put a 172 back bumper onto my mk2 ph1, what will the insurance do about it. Is this classed as modifying your car e.g (carzone :dead: kit ).

I much prefer the sleek standard looks of the clio and was wondering if i could get this without doubling my insurance price. Im 17 u see so the insurance people dont like me

  Turbo'd MX-5 MK4
it will be classed as modifying, as you are changing the original specification of your car.

  RS 182 - Black Gold
Yup it all comes under moddfying.

Unfortunatly you have to bite the bullet and pay for it at somepoint.
Being 17 wont help anything tho... its wont be that bad, give them a call and get a price.

Sometime you have to sacrifice things till your a bit older.

I waited 3 years before modyfying anything i had, this let me learn some driving skills and build up some no claims.
