I get mine next Monday, cannot fecking wa!t.
What are your first impressions, handling, brakes etc....
Congrats D-cup, will have to wait 5 weeks for mine.... bet its feels just right.
I had to drive home in the heavy rain on the motorway so I havent had a proper drive yet.
Steering felt precise, no pulling or constant re-correcting that some have reported, it was fast enough even staying under 4000rpm, ride was ok although you feel the car damping all the road undulations. I didnt feel at all unsafe either given the wet roads. Noise level was ok for motorway cruising, better than the deafening 106gti I had before. Colour looks superb. Stereos a bit sh*t, I want an MP70. Front splitter and badges were all present and correct.
