More Alpine 55r fun

Well its not happy with just the screen messing up and the fact i cant pick up radio as well as rattling!
Now its decided to cut out!
Pulled it all out this morning and all the connections look ok...The only think i did notice was it was very hot so mabye its cutting out with the heat?
Gonna try and find the recipt tonight and see if i can send it back as its under a year old.
Anyone sent stuff back to alpine?
Any ideas welcome! lol
If your planning on getting this unit....DONT ...Its sh1t!

alpine units always get warm and the fact that the clio head unit area is tiny makes it get even warmer

ive this unit and it has never cut out - only prob i have with it is the glide bar

ive sent stuff back to alpine before, my old 9815rb unit (it caught fire lol), and it was sent back 100% perfect

I have the same unit and its absolutely brilliant not a problem with it and its used every day. Its an amazing unit just looks like you got a faulty one. Cant really say the unit is bad cause of your faulty one.

Seen pioneers that refuse to let the face come off or move after a month etc as well. It just happens.

They normally flash up with a warning if they are to hot.

Think if you press the back skip button and band it will allow you to turn on / off the fan in the unit. Think its those 2 anyways.
