More holes in my airbox than there is pipes going to it... pic included...

hi, please see pic for info:


i'm wondering if something has been removed from the end of the resonator box pipe to allow a larger sized battery to be fitted? the pipe from the resonator box has been cut, but it could go to one of two holes. any suggestions?

Looks like its been butchered. Get rid of it and the acoustic valve it connects to.

looks like it has been removed, broken in the process and then replaced for selling ect

more than likely had an aftermarket induction kit on ect but removed it

also check that your battery is properly seated/positioned looks out of place(to far towards front of car)

battery is tight and right up against the black metal plate (looks like it holds the ecu?) battery is a bit longer than the one in this picture

when you say remove it and the acoustic valve, are you referring to the broken pipe you see in my original picture, and the big plastic box behind the wing? then just replace with cold air feeds?

Leave it as it is. Cold air feeds often hamper the air flow to the filter.

Just as a guide, My airbox also looks like that, with no cold air feeds attached and standard filter, which ran a 177.8bhp at RS tuning

Mine too
