a mate of mine was saying that the renault 5 turbo engine would bolt in my 1.4rt. i was just wondering is this true with havent 2 fart about with custom made mounts and driveshafts etc. also what else would i need 2 carry out this conversion except for the engine? i was thinking i would maybe need the fuel tank and fuel pump as well but not 2 sure?

You need new engine mounts but yes just like any other Clio engine it will bolt in.
Making it run is a different matter a few more bits need to be done.
You are best off getting a whole 5GTT realy as you need loads of bits and pieces ie gearbox dial etc.
Driveshafts are a direct swop I belive but even having shafts made up isn't that much.

the renault 5 turbo/exhaust manifold will bolt straight on. Its exactly the same engine in the r5. But as edde mentioned your other parts might not be up to it
