It won't make 10hp top end more like 3~4. Gains are more mid range.
Quite a few compnaies can do remaps
Yoaasport.
Chipwizards are also popular.
pmurray on here at RSTUNING, Leeds.
I am taking my 172 FF over there to get "sorted" after having a S/S cat back on as i've lost some torque low down, but increased top end power. Sooner have the torque, saves me thrashing it all the time.
Is it common to lose power low down when having a s/s cat back exhaust fitted?
RS Tuning quote an increase of 30Nm of torque on the 182's original 200Nm.
Dont' know about the 172?

That sounds a bit high.
I'm going to get the inlet manifold matched as well as a remap, would you suggest sticking with the factory exhaust then.Is it common to lose power low down when having a s/s cat back exhaust fitted?
As far as I have read on here yes.
The burble also makes it sound like yr labouring the engine compared to the lovely smooth OEM exhaust.

Hey Paul,I sent you a pm a couple of days ago in regards to getting one of your remapped ecu's sent to OZ.Haven't had a reply.Any chance you could get back to me with a price, cheeers. Here is an actual test done on a 182 with full SS catback and a badly fitted viper IK! As i always say forget the actual figure just look at the gains, each run was within 30 mins of each other:

As for the figures on the site, they are close enough but not 100% hence the disclaimer!
Cheers
Paul

It' the loss of low down power that you mentioned that worries me the most.Thats the thing about the clio I love the most!
