Hi all

I am on the lookout for a nice, well looked after example of a Clio 172! I have a £1500/£2000 budget and looking for a late 172. Unfortunatly my budget does not stretch to a 182 now i am a home owner! What are your opinions, should i save for the 182 or is the 172 a great car too! I have never driven either but i have had a friend who has owned a 182 in the past, and i loved it!

Anyways, no doubt ill probably be sticking around!

I have a 182 and i'd swap it for a 172 cup anyday. I'd say save about £2500 and get a clean 172. £1500 is abit cheap for a phase 2 in my opinion but this is the buyers market so you never know!

as above, 2K is a bit low for clean 172. 2.5K you would get a nice 172

or for 2 K you could get a nice 172 phase 1

Does insurance factor into your budget too, or are you too old to worry :rasp:
