Morningggggg:) Noise??

  Clio Sport 172 '04
Hey up guys,

Whilst driving along my car is making a 'humming noise' that gets louder the faster I go.. I think this is the exhaust but I have been told it may well be a wheel bearing problem?? Anyone heard of/ or experienced this before??

Cheers (Y)

Where is the noise coming from?
HAha sorry guys, yeah that might help...

Sounds like it's at the rear of the car... i've also dropped the clutch whilst driving so revs go down to about 1,000 rpm whilst doing like 50 and the noise doesn't change in loudness....

Spin the rear wheels each, if its a wheel bearing as above the bearings are pressed into the rear discs, so just order a new set of genuine discs up and put them on.

I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be the wheel bearing. As said above if this is the problem its easer to just replace the rear disks. If you do replace the disks make sure you ether save the spacers form your old disks or order new ones with the disks. George@RTR_Parts is a trader on here I used him and he is very good.
