Most free flowing pannel filter - 1.2 16v

Anyone know what the most free flowing design panel filter is available for the 1.2 16v?

after taking mine a quick spin with the air box back on and no filter in it with the standard cold air feed removed it has much more low down torque than it did with the k-tec relocated kit and its much louder than the induction kit (because of the cold air feed removed).

I’ve got the old paper filter back in now and it feels crap high up in the rev range so I want the most free flowing filter I can get for it and then me and a mate are going to mod the air box to get more air in through the tiny hole that it sucks the air through

Cheers :)

drill a massive hole in the front of the airbox and put a 'feed' straight to the front top grille.. he he

my mates taking the airbox to his work to modify it to allow better airflow and he said the free'est (that a word?) flowing filter he can think of is an HKS element so were going to mod one to fit mine.

but the tight is a good idea? is it reliable tho eg does it rip easy?

the most free flowing filters are the metal gauze type but they usually dont come in panel filters, next is cotton gauze, and then its foam

its the complete reverse of that list when it comes to engine protection/filtration
