MOT - Brake Pads and Disks help

took my car to Ren-o-tech in chelmsford today for a service and MOT.

everything on the car is fine except the pads and disks.

apparently i need new disks and pads all round!!

front pads are 90% worn with only 1.5mm left and the rears are 90% worn with 1mm left.

getting them changed isnt a big deal, its just my MOT runs out tomorrow and the chances of me getting the stuff i want by then is 0.

but ive also been told my disks are warn and ridged and they need replacing.

ill get some pics later when i get home as im still not 100% about that.

i made a post a little while ago about getting some new pads -

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=430290

if i do actually need some new disks what would be a good option for uprating the pads and disks as a whole??

ive currently got standardc disks and green stuff pads and they are shocking.

cheers

ok the car passed its MOT just, but i got an advisory note saying the pads and disks need changing.

now pete from auto-nation said the rear disks and pads dont need upgrading as they only do 25% of the braking.

but ren-o-tech in chelmsford said if you uprate the front pads you should uprate the back to. otherwise you get uneven braking and the back end can wobble.

any advice please?
