mot fail - emissions

Flew through everything fine, right up until the emissions, too high.

whats the likely culprit?

Lambda sensor
failing that guessing the cat, which is the twin barrel type.

any othe rthoughts or suggestions?

Was the engine cold? I had this and i blasted it when hot and it was ok.

Me too, failed. Good thrash up the road and straight back on the machine, pass.

I've a dodgy lambda sensor and a decatted yozza and mine passed on emissions. Was driving for about an hour before the MOT so the engine was hot.

id driven it about 20 mins, but then it sat for maybe 10-15 mins before went into the garage.

Needs to be HOT, pisses me off when I take it there, then they leave it ticking over for ages while they check other stuff, then do the test and it fails.
