MOT fail left hand light cluster?

Hi all

The clio 172 with Xenon lights has failed its MOT, because it has a left hand drive passenger side light cluster. Is this possible and how did it pass its last MOT? :lolup:

Do you mean that the beam is deflecting the wrong way

has the car been damaged at the front end and repaired. Get some beam deflectors for it or something. The kind that the french would require for coming on holiday here

the light beam will point in the wrong direction , yes its possible

Accident after the last mot causing it to be replaced.

Because of the Xenon lights, deflectors on the front do not work. The lense cover is all but clear. :dapprove:
The car has had a replace ment wing on the drivers side?
Would you be able to get a left hand light unit in the UK?
Is there any real difference if there are no deflectors?

Yea its shineing on the wrong side of the road. yea it is possible to get the wrong headlights come though if they have been ordered incorrect.

I had a new light on my 172 because a clip had broke on mine, and it failed for the same reason, fortunately I was able to swap it. Alot of companies buy parts from abroad, whether it be new or used parts.

Any ody got the part number of the passenger front light cluster. I would like to compare it with the part numbers on my lights to see if they match?
