This might sound like a silly question (hope it's not tho lol) I have got my MOT booked for this saturday but I know my rear shocks are leaking but can't get them replaced until after I get paid which is after the MOT is due.......

Will the car fail the MOT with the rear shock problem?

Yes.

You may get away with it if you clean off any leaked oil, but its a long shot.

The dampers can leak all they want if it passes the push down each corner and check how many times it goes as such check then its ok.

Clean the oil off and you should be alright

aslong as the shocker works ok and the fluid leak isnt considered serious then it will pass.
would be worth cleaning them up though or hope it rains lol
