motherboard help

Is there anyway of finding out a model of a motherboard? it is not on the motherboard, sorting a mates comp which is from shitty pc world.

Start up the computer, press the 'DEL' key when booting up, it should go into the BIOS/SETUP menu......[blue screen usually]

Should tell you somewhere there?

i have tried that but i actually can not get into bios! its pissing me off! you turn it on and it basically is at the windows load up screen before the image is on the screen lol bloody annoying.

my motherboard number is printed on my first screen when i load up, plus buliding it does help lol

99 times out of 100 it will give you all the MB details you need.

Mainboard

* Vendor, model and revision.
* BIOS model and date.
* Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor.
* Graphic interface.
