Motorsport ecu specialist?

Does anybody know of any recommended ecu specialists, ideally in the southeat area but not to worried if we have to send it off, it's for a 92 formula Renault if that makes any difference.

Any help would be appreciated

Tbh I don't know anything about it other than it was a special ecu made for formula Renault sport back in about 88ish, I will get a picture up

It's in the formula Renault but ithaca a problem so we nee to send it off.

Does it have a comms port on or is that one of the ones where you have to change the chip to alter it?

Either way, you are going to need to find someone with some OLD equipment, lol

Probably be easier to swap it out for a more up to date setup?

you might be able to identify the manufacturer by opening it and looking at the board as mostly ECU's are stamped like this, but you are going to struggle to get much info on that. I'd recommend modernising. See it as an opportunity.

I'd go with Dan, you'd probably save a fortune on fuel alone too lol

Not like it will be difficult to convert to different management either, they are pretty simple engines!

What do you do with it? Hillclimbs?

Its been in a lock up for a fair few years so things have started to perish corrode ect... It's my uncles but we intend on getting the ecu sorted as its giving the car a constant positive feed. Get new wheels/tyres, then a total strip down and rebuild ... Then hopfully take it on a couple of test days and basically see what it runs like and see what happens from there.
