mounting amp to rear seat

I'm re-designing my sound system in the boot, and just wondered is it possible to mount an amplifier to the back of the rear seat (more specifically the left single one)?

Basically, is there anything important in that seat like sensors because I don't think its stable enough to carry the weight alone so would need some extra material in it to support the amp. I might have to open it up, slot some MDF in there to screw the amp to and carpet it back up for example. Or not?

Rear seats have nothing in apart from foam etc
