mp3 help

I am trying to copy some tracks from a cd onto my MP3 player, but they won't play.

I know its because there not in MP3 format, but format are they?? all i can see is it saying its a CD audio track.

Does anyone know of any good (free) mp3 convertors that would work

if its a .cda file its just a shortcut to your cd player.

u need to rip the tracks from the cd , yer mp3 player should have come with some software if not try dbpower amp , or most cd burner software comes with the ability to rip tracks from cd to hd

itunes or windows media player are just 2 pieces of software that can rip from the CD to MP3 format

They are also free
