MPG 1.2 16v

My cars gonein the garage for a couple of days, so ive managed to lend my mums MK3 1.2 16v.

What should i get to the gallon because it seems to drink more than my MK1 Phase 3 1.2 8v.

My Mpg Is Crap, but thats cause i drive it really hard and rarely on long distances... 34-36mpg. If im lucky, Best ive had on a long journey is 46mpg.

My 1.2 16v settle on about 32-33. Now i reckon thats sh*t but Lee at Reno Romford tells me thats normal. He gets 40 from a diesal. I haveheard ppl on here talk about getting more than me from a 172 so Ill be watching this post with interest.

Probably does..mine isnt overly economical..35mpg if youre light footed? 40mpg if you drive like a nun.

i got about 35 mos of the the time but that was cos i pushed it lol got aobut 390 to a tank

I get around 40-41mpg. But thats with my Ecotek on.

Mental not never buy a car from there getting 40 out of the diesel is insane Ive got about 37 on country roads once absolutly hammering.

Bettween 30 and 35 I would guess but if your driving it very slowly in town traffic or riving it hard 25. Ive hit about 17 in one once in a courtesy car.

I get 33-34 mpg in my 172

Is best on the motorway. I sed to get around 47mpg on the motorway, overall I used get around 41-42 out of both of my 1.2 16vs. The 1.2 16v is more economical than 1.2 8v in the Mk3 I think.

on a run in my 1.6 16v i get about 50 if "i drive like a nun" or 40/45 normally

during the week (short runs - barely warms up) i get 30/35 odd

mine reads out 31.2mpg !
