mpg for london sucks

i tried driving economically for a few days and the best i could get was 25.3 mpg pretty proud lol but now its all gone down to 24.2 etc lol you guys on the country side all get 35+ im jealous =(

I can cane the D up the M40 @ 120 and get 38 constant!

I can not get better than 30mpg from my 182 unless i stick the cruise on on the Mway. When im in the town i get 27/28mpg but i kind of accepted id need to buy shares in BP when i bought it!

40mpg on sensible driving a roads at 60 etc....
30 - 35 with a heavy foot

The very best i ever get is 32mpg and thats driving conservatively, if i give it some hammer i get around 28mpg!
