MPG of a 1.4 clio rt

Its probably been asked before but I wanted to know if Im roughly getting the right MPG out of my car!

If I fill the tank which costs 29 quid and do a mixture of town and motor way driving then I get around 300 - 320 miles thats with going into the reserve?

Also how many miles will I get out of the reserve tank and is it a seperate tank altogether?

i got 44miles ouf of my 04 1.4 reserve tank. think something might be up with the red light as its very keen to come on all the time! not too sure if the reserve is an extra tank or if its just a little sump in the main one???

u have a reserve "section" in ur fuel tank.

valvers etc have a second (smaller) tank 2 stop starvation when going round corners. similar to a swirl pot idea

Umm about 260-280 on just under £30. Thats before the light comes on.

Ive been told its a bad idea to run it on empty cause youll end up sucking any rust in the tank through the engine.
