im doing about a 150 mile trip tomorrow
there is going to be 4 adults in the car
speed is not the issue as will be sat at 70 on motorway
i wasnt sure if the weight would be an issue with the c2(higher revs)

what i want to no is which car will use the least amount of petrol

Im gonna take a stab that the C2 will use less! As it hasnt got a 180bhp 2.0 litre engine!

182 are quite economical on long motorway journeys [at 70mph] but i'd say the C2 will use less fuel.

I reckon 182! C2 could be struggling with four adults in the car. If you drive sensibly I reckon the 182 would be better on fuel ... but the question is can u actually get four adults in a 182??? And how would the people in the back feel after a 150 mile trip!! :S

With 4 people in I would say the clio would be your best bet.

182 will sit at 70 easy peasy all day long, I get high 40's on a run with mine.

Don't use cruise control if you want to get the most out of your tank.

clio will go over 40mpg at that prolonged speed.

will c2 be 4 up?

i reckon you will use less if you dont cain it. the 1.4 will need to work harder up hills and gradients if loaded up.
