i have the new version of messenger the beta thingy but i can't log in?

i have just bee nable to log into messenger version 4.7 but why not the beta thingy?

says i am not allowed. any help?

Messenger 4.7 is Windows messenger rather than MSN messenger.

My Messenger Beta 8 is working fine, checked your firewall's not blocking it?

it says on my firewall that it is not blocked and that full access is given
same problem with 7.5
