Eh? In 1946 it was an awesome car. Main selling point was its affordability.

Im surprised they havnt got 'horse and cart'. Needs regular refuelling with hay and makes a mess on the road. What a bunch of numpties.

Clearly...ask most Vee owners, the majority have another 'fun' car, as the V6 isn't about binning about in, its more about the 'occasion' and attention the car gets.

I can vouch for that, take 1 drunk V6 owner, put him into the passenger seat & drive him to a party :rolleyes: talk about ego trip lol! :rolleyes:

Although I must say it's very easy to put the owner back in his place with a 2nd gear corner and a "watch this" moment :rasp:

I never found that! Had an indicated 171 on the autobahn and was rock solid (156mph GPS)

forgot to add only with a gust of wind it used to feel a bit unstable, on the autobahn i did 120 and it didnt feel right

Aye, scary in the wind. It Buffers inside the engine bay...Not fun at all.

she's doing fine, being used properly as well ;) I drove it for the 1st time on the road & was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was :approve: need a few more drives in her before I'd feel confident having a proper blast
