muffled speakers

hi all,

just wired my rear 6x9s up and the sound is quieter than the front speakers, its as if it is muffled, i have wired the wires +to+ etc.

any ideas as to what the problem is?

also when i adjust the bass/treble on the stereo it doesnt do anything?

lol - good old 6x9s, dont bother with them IMHO

have you checked the wiring at the back of the head unit?

what about the fader, is it set mainly to the front??

fader etc is ok, yeah i checked the wiring, i wired them up!!!

id double check the wiring, it is very easy to mess something up, or miss it 1st time round

were the speakers new? if so send them back and ask for a refund, then get yourself some nice genesis 6x9" subs, build an enclosure on the parcel shelf and reflect in the glory that is mid bass with no treble from the rear

na the speakers arent new, they Alpines. ill have to check the wiring
