Multi timer unit's trouble?

  clio RS 2.0 ph1
Hi there,

I have clio rs ph1(2001). Once I removed the Multi Timer Unit (beside the fusebox relay assy), and the engine does not started because of the fuel pump.
Then I inspected it, and the engine could run but the right flasher, hazard light and right-sided electric window are asleep.
I think it may be the multi-timer unit's trouble.

Does anyone teach me,
1. must I change the unit?
2. where can I get it?

Thanks:approve::approve:

Hello, I'm Japanese.
So I'm poor in English, but I’m in fix because of multi-timer unit.

There is no communication site about clio in Japan.
I'm glad to find out this web site and many clio's enthusiasts around the world.
I wish to be companion with you.
But I'm slightly sad because there is no response.

I wish someone would teach me about multi-timer unit resetting.
I'm waiting for your reply at Far East in the world.

Best regard, Jun

The multi timer unit has nothing to do with the fuel pump or fuel pump relay. That relay is controlled by the Engine Management System. Assuming your immobiliser light in the dash was turning off after you turned the ignition key on then the immobiliser sounds ok. You may have more than one problem.

Removing and replacing the multi timer unit allowing the fuel pump to work again is strange! As for the right hand side of the car not working or flashing, check that you haven't forgotten to plug all connector plugs into the timer unit and all the relays.

After that try looking under the plastic panel which runs along the inside of the car over the carpet below the door seal. There is an earth bolt there which serves the right hand side of the cars electrics and could have come loose after you were working at the wires above.

There is no way of resetting the multi timer unit i am aware of but to disconnect the vehicle battery for about 10 minutes.

Thank you for your kindness to make a reply to my question.
I have check all connector plugs and relays, but they are ok.
I will follow your advice and try to check the earth.
