MULTIFITS DONT FIT ?

New to the forum so I thought id start off with my first problem.

Currently have a 52 plate 1.2 clio xtreme

Running stanard alloys but I recently bought some multifit ones second hand and they dont fit ?

They are 15inch and just dont fit? I then was told by a friend that there is 2 types of multifit, can anyone direct me to somewhere I can buy PCD adapters/spacers that will make these fit? I dont know much about these but they are the multifit alloys that dont fit a clio lol?

On the back/inside of the alloy they are markings that say ;

15x6.5
et 38

8/60

eg/23

REALLLLYY want these to fit my car :( slowly getting it looking good after having it for months and this is annoying me!!

Thanks & what do you drive?!?!

Thats the only information I have is there 15" multifit ripspeed alloys that dont fit 4 x 100 PCD, so im guessing they would fit 5 x 100 PCD?

which means I can buy 4 x 100 PCD to 5 x 100 PCD wheel spacers?

I dont know how this helps really , there multifit alloys that dont fit 4 x 100 PCD
they must be multifits for 5 x 100, 5 x 108 ect im guessing?

Im assuming you tried to turn them another 45 degrees to see if the other four holes would fit?

They're 4 stud (well 8, hence multi fit) I would imagine they're 4x100 and 4x108 so they should fit, do you have spigot rings to allow them to fit? They would centre the wheel and let you line up the correct 4.

This is why im finding a problem. No I don't have spigots yet i was trying them on to see how they looked and straight up dont fit.

Can you measure the holes? Do that centre to centre and post up what the sizes are.

There will be two different sizes.

could be jap. 114.3 and 108

easy to check with a tape measure

Wheels are currently with car in the lock up. I can jump up early bells tomorrow to measure them, whats the best way to go about it ?

and yes the wheel does sit on the hub (with some amount of leeway of course due to not having spigots, was just trying them on still to get refurbed in matt blue)

I dont think ripspeed is a jap company though?

because they arent jap, doesnt mean they cant make jap fitment

I see your point, but highly doubt it.. was told they would fit corsa, clio & fiesta .. doesn't seem like it .. ive changed wheels plenty before so i dont think im doing anything wrong .. i mean umm what can you do wrong lmao

guessing spigot rings would help you align it though... try getting hold of some?

can you not even get 2 bolts in?

Got 1 bolt in and played about moving it, re aligning it ect no luck , I havn't slept in a good 24hours so that could be the problem (human error) but I doubt it .. I'm goani pop down to see it after work in 9hours :(

Ill re-post any updates, great help so far :)

If you can only get on in it might be you are the wrong set, turn it by one hole and try again!
From what i remember i did try every hole on the alloy , but i was mega tired and rushing and burst my hand open (blood everywhere) so i might of missed the next hole and got the one after (the wrong pcd ones) i dunno but ill have a look tomorrow could just be because i dont have spigots and i cant align them correctly myself?

ill keep you's updates tomorrow :D

I used to run a set of 17s on my old clio Grandè 1.2 without spigot rings.. Never had a problem fitting them but as soon as you took the bolts out they fell off, never balanced on.. But they looked pimp! :S lol

Probs dont fit down to lack of sleep and not having spigot rings,

73.1 > 60.1 spigots arnt they ??

But as someone stated could well be 4x108/114.3
