Music help please

Is it possible to put a original music cd in my laptop and make a copy of it on my computer?

I have tried doing it the way I thought it should be dine but all it does is makes a shortcut, I want to be able to select tracks and not have to keep instering the cd.

Any help would be great please

Windows Media Player or iTunes will do it for you.

Should be a "Burn from CD" option at the top.

if you put the cd in, when the pop up box comes up with play cd etc, scroll through the menu and it should have copy tracks to disk or something, click that and it will do it

I dont want to burn it to cd I want to save certain tracks from cds onto my laptop

I am using Media player

Ok done that and I have a track listing with ticked box's

Get nero, that exports them as mp3s for you
