Music renamer??

I've got 40GB of music on a separate HDD on my desktop PC.

It annoys me that there are alot of typos in the band names and song names.

I know itunes can edit this quickly but it doesn't affect my normal files/folders permanently.

What software is there to use to do this

"Tag and rename" is great.. batch remames, tag edits etc.

Itunes does affect the normal files... well mine does. Its in the preferences/options.
