MX5 Project

Well the wheels are currently having new rubber put on them and i have my front lip on order.
Haven't really done too much as money has been tight but i did manage to service the supercharger which has mad a world of difference. Since i have had the car there was a knocking sound at low revs so changed the coupler and oil. not really any pictures except the old couple. Was a snug fit but there was clearly a fair bit of play in it

Also changed the pads all round to Axxis ultimates as the old ones were shot on the rear, not sure how it passed an MOT when i bought it considering i have done about 800 miles.
Fronts weren't to bad but were not matching either so i changed the lot

Then spent the day giving it a clean. The paint work was in such a state but did manage to sort some of it. Ill post up when the wheels and splitter go on.

Also stuck on a 12" momo wheel...and then took it off again. It was a great feeling wheel but i could never see the dials.

also managed to relocate the front number plate. Partly because the original plinth fell off so it was the only option really!

Also i was having problems with the charger and couldnt figure out what it was. thankfully it was a simple fix. The bracket that holds the cable onto the first throttle body had come loose so the throttle bodies were off balance. After a bit of faffing about i managed to sort it and it's now flying again.

Next up is to take it to my mate to roll the arches to bring it down a bit more. it's constantly scrubbing at the moment. Also going to have the bumpers re-prayed in the new year.

This is what I was after before I went for another Clio! Still tempted as a side project for the snow tbh.
