My 172 Cup

Well after a couple of months of wanting a 172 cup i finally saved up enough i needed to get a good one and im proud to say that last weekend i finally purchased one. I had a Saxo VTS previously and can honestly say its a great step up in every single way, im loving every minute of the clio .

The car itself is a 2002 mondial blue cup with only 35k on and just one previous owner! Its Pretty much bog standard apart from some sort of stealth exhaust (im not sure on the make but i do know its not a btb or a ktec so probably a custom). I have lots of plans for it but at the min i want to sort out one or two niggles such as getting the belts done, trimming a small nick in the drivers seat, and ideally refurbing one (or maybe all) of the turini's as one is slighty curbed .

Anyway after spending the whole weekend enjoying her or being in a petrol station lol i spent yesterday giving it a quick clean inside and out then headed off for a few pics, sorry about the quality of these it was getting dark and was freezing so i'll get some better ones in the next couple of days (I will also be giving the car a full detail within the next week or two to bring the paintwork up to scratch)

would recommend clear side repeaters

As for the belts get them done ASAP as they tend to be one of worst things to go wrong best to check the "traders" section of the forum specialists tend to be both better and cheaper than main dealers

You also beat me to it with the side repeaters as i was going to ask where the best place to get some is...a couple of friends have trophy's and i noticed they have them so maybe renault?

Ebay, or the for sale section on here they usually go for around £10 renault will proberly charge silly money for a set but sure they do sell them.

Get the repeaters from Renault, cheap ebay jobs are piss poor and will cloud up with moisture etc. They aint that much, i got some last year

I got clear side repeaters from Renault, as the Ebay ones look crap with the fully clear sections.

The renault ones are more frosted and look much better.

£21 quid inc VAT iirc.
