my 172 doesnt have a cig lighter??

Just bought a new sat nav, goes to plug it in and theres just a piece of plastic there filling it in?

pulled out the fitment and theres defo no heating mechanism behind it. was this an option on 51 plates??

either that or its proper jammed in there, but like I say when i pulled it outta its housing (quality french build) theres no wiring loom or power going to it?????

get down to the scrappy, new console with cig lighter tenner. the clips holding them in are so fiddly it's a nightmare to swap, plus it'd prob cost the same!

Whip the centre console (sp?) out and see whats going on. Chances are the wires will be still hanging somewhere and if your lucky the connectors will be in tacked too. (saves soldering)

Breakers for a new lighter, plug in job done.
