yup
at first glance. it may well be worth that much because of the low miles and its condition, but it is trophy money.
the problem is you're appealing to a very small audience at the moment, one that will appreciate the modifications. my advice would be to return it to standard if you want £5k. the trophy suspension and speedlines will fetch a pretty penny. matched inlets are in demand and the steering wheel you could flog for what you paid for it, however then you'd have to wait for a decent oem steering wheel to pop up. once you've returned to standard i'm sure you could make £5k from selling mods and car separately.

To be onest mate I've been thinking the exact same thing the only real selling point I thought it might have had is the fact that it has trophy suspension for those people likeing the trophy for the handling and not the colour

Forget selling with "choice mods".

They may be your choice, but not everyones.

Make more of the maintenence angle (although frequency of washing may be a little extreme :) )

Good luck, looks nice. Maybe not £5k nice, but nice nonetheless

What he's said above. The mods are YOUR choice...you may strike lucky, but most people who want a Trophy would buy a Trophy. Return to as near standard, sell the stuff worth selling and you should make around the mark you're looking for currently. The speedlines are definitely a seller and you should make you some money. :)

edit: in response to post #3

people don't think like that though. half won't have a clue on the difference between trophys and 182/172s anyway. however much you do to it it'll always be a 182 and people who can afford the best clio will always want a trophy. it holds a state of grandeur when it comes to owning a clio, something you won't be able to replicate by fitting trophy suspension, or even recaros or trophy spoiler etc
