said at the mids meet ur a badass .....figures proove me right . nice 1

viper, full s/s custom exhaust, de-cat, smt6, inlet work, cams.

I know how i'd push it above 200bhp but its just affording it at the moment. Torque has improved dramatically and the car is so much more driveable and throttle response is great. 172 mk2 ph1 have cable throttle:approve: !

If I can stretch to it i'm looking at getting 182 (4-2-1) exhaust mani, heads ported and maybe the rev limiter adjusted a bit higher than it currently is. Would reckon i'd be seeing 210-215bhp then!

Seem's relitavely accurate. MarkM's car was producing 205bhp with the same kinda mod's and that was a 182 as standard where mine is a 172. So there is still roughly 10bhp between the two car's.

idk i havent got the print out infront of me as their printer was broke but they are posting it to me when they have it up and running and I can remember it saying 195bhp maximum for sure.

What should the power @ wheels be if it's @ 195bhp?

SO my car is either 165bhp @ wheels or 201bhp at flywheel if 171 is @ the wheels?

I was wondering with the 182 mani whether...

1) It will fit my janspeed silenced de-cat (which i doubt it would)

and

2) Would it fit perfectly with the standard 172 mk2 ph1 twin cats?

It seems like a lot of work just for an extra 5bhp.

hmmm

Nope i have 182 mani and no cat, you need a custom link pipe made from the mani mate, as they are completly different.
I have 182 mani, no cat straight to rear box, Grp N ecu, ITG filter........

Much nicer now but need SMT6!!!

So if I went for a 182 mani, got a straight through pipe made to meet the middle box, would I need to buy a cat designed for a 182 when it comes to MOT time? or would my standard 172 mk2 ph1 cat fit?

As whats been said it aint a easy job. Its all gonna have to be custom knocked together.

Is it worth it ?? ..good question :)

Yeah it does, I could probably easily get the extra 5bhp it creates from somewhere else for less hassle.

well my rolling road figure has always been a bit dodgy to say the least with my mods it mad 192.3 bhp at fly but that seems to high.......

De cat, 182 mani, ITG Maxi, Grp N ecu, large bore exhaust.....

Seems like way to much work for very little gains. I'll stick with the 4-1 for as long as possible.
