welcome to the world of clio tuning, loads of work for not much gains!!!!

lmao, does yozzasport still do head work? Theres no price on the site and it said "OUT OF STOCK" not that it would be "IN STOCK" but I was just wondering you may have stopped doing it for some reason...

we do still do headwork yes, off the top of my head, we do have an exchange head being done at the moment, so will be ready to ship/fit shortly

ignore the "out of stock thing"

large items, such as ECU's, TB's etc etc we don't keep on the shelf, we order them in (huge chunks of cash to keep those items in stock!)

You cant fit a 182 manifold on the mk1 172 the zorst ports are way bigger on the mk1.

Exhuast ports are bigger, but the 182 manifold still bolts up perfectly fine. The flange isnt smaller like the 182 exhuast ports.

How much for headwork Ben inc fitting not just an exchange and make me fit it and balls it up.

Depends on the level of headwork you want, i cater for several different setups and you can modify to include plans for future mods.

I dont do an 'off the shelf' head, it implies that its not as good as it should be.

viper, full s/s custom exhaust, de-cat, smt6, inlet work, cams.

I know how i'd push it above 200bhp but its just affording it at the moment. Torque has improved dramatically and the car is so much more driveable and throttle response is great. 172 mk2 ph1 have cable throttle:approve: !

If I can stretch to it i'm looking at getting 182 (4-2-1) exhaust mani, heads ported and maybe the rev limiter adjusted a bit higher than it currently is. Would reckon i'd be seeing 210-215bhp then!

215bhp? totally bullshit ...

if you want something done properly.............

i dont love you, your slut.....i just use you.

if i loved you, you would of got flowers on valentines, not a McSausage. ;)

and whre the f**k is my trophy you promised??? our relationship is SO nearly coming to an end!!! that ross boy has made you greedy!

They had to higher my suspension because it was so low to actually get it onto the rollers.

nice one chris.

sorry I didnt make it but didnt get back from gdi until about 7.30pm!

IMO 215bhp on the standard inlet is not possible with your spec. ross's car is the most powerful (217bhp) on the standard manifold but his is done to a phase 2 spec and he has wilder cams then you.

205-210bhp would be a nice figure though.:D

You could always get one of Bens new inlets when there finished.

215bhp+++........:evil:

That the inlet which has been cut in half and welded back up?

ross' phase 2 inlet is the welded one.

Ben is designing a completely new one. Apparently it will be like enclosed throttle bodies with a single inlet to allow the standard throttle body to be used.

so a s1600 type setup

dont know the details just parroting what ben told me.

I imagine it is nothing ground breaking in general terms but it will for this engine?

20 BHP more, and a full second knocked of the 0-60! hmm

So what would you expect ?? 5 to 6 seconds off for a 0 to 60 time of 1.6 seconds ??

Its not about 0 - 60. Its about torque, mid range and basically making it a smoother more responsive car to drive over standard

  182, SRT8, RS4, GT-R
Fred, think Chris ran 5.7 0-60 and mid 14's for 1/4 mile. Those times seem really good considering conditions were apparantly crap. Sure Chris will confirm it.

  Rb 182
Did this car stop working after a 0-60 run?? Looked like it wouldnt start. Could have been a diffrent car though :S

  Lionel Richie
really? we had a short when i fired ours up in the morning and the bloody battery kept going flat

the joys of renaults eh!

Lol, ran out of petrol. Was on red and thought f**k it ive got a bit left and im sure red will probably give me 50 miles yet, so belted it up the 1/4 mile, got to the marquee, got out the car, came to start it and nothing lol.

So I had to buy a can of petrol.

Yea had a bit of a problem around track on the very bottom right hand corner (as you look at the track). Originally thought it was my clutch going but it only happened here but it happened everytime on the corner. Seemed to have a problem getting the fuel through as I hit the corner, would be in third and loose nearly all power, then the power would return, then it would die again then i'd regain it (until I came to that particular corner again).

Ran well though apart from that hickup. Wasn't even the tightest corner either. Quite a fast corner though.

Sounded mint. Impressed with the 0-60 times even though it was my first attempt at it and the track was full of gravel.

Chris your car sounded well sweet on the strip! Some impressive times for the state of the tarmac! I think i might have a vid clip of it somewhere!
