It is awesome, but about what part does he need to get a grip? He does have a point.
Sorry... I could of put it better!
I love a sleeper, but I just don't understand putting an engine into a car when renault done it for you!! Would of been better off buying a 1*2 and then having it sprayed whatever colour you wanted IMO.
That wouldn't really make sense either.
Spend £3k on a car she knows and loves and has spent a load of money on already
OR
Sell it and buy a car she knows nothing about it's background really and then spend £2k getting it resprayed a different colour
Both seem "daft" to the average punter but I know what I'd rather do!
'why put a F4R in a valver'
'why put a VAG 1.8t in a clio when you could just buy a golf for cheaper'
why spend 3k on turbo conversion when you could buy a faster car out of the box for cheaper'
there are far too many sensible people on here
that arguement can hold true to alot of the project threads
'why put a F4R in a valver'
'why put a VAG 1.8t in a clio when you could just buy a golf for cheaper'
why spend 3k on turbo conversion when you could buy a faster car out of the box for cheaper'
etc, etc.
i like the car! i like it even more 'cos it hasnt got the sport kit on it!
Complete s**te... All 3 of the above examples would be totally unique. (I had a 20vt lump in a 6n2 polo gti so i get the sleeper appeal).
What I don't get is this... £3k + The value of her car for an incomplete 182???
Fair play to you for doing it, it was your decision so who am i to question you!
Just need to update your profile now Vicky.
Stealth exhaust?
well.... fair play to ya girl. alot spent but its just digits on a screen to some lol (bitter as i'm skint)
always admired what you've done with it, see it at a show soon hopefully.
Forgot about that lol.
That's the plan! I couldn't decide between the stealth and A recessed exhaust but with the cars current spec it's all about the stealth. If anyone has one for sale PM
I had the system changed but kept the same backbox, now I'm considering swapping it for a stealth
