A lap of Bedford's West circuit - 1:27

Not directly comparable with the 1:33 Evo managed as the video skips a bit and there was no pif-paf either but I'm happy with it all the same.

The instructor I had with me was one of the better ones that I've come across though :approve:

West Circuit

I also had a run round the irrigated North handling circuit, very slow, 2nd and 3rd mainly. Good fun though, playing with the brakes while turning to feel how it reacts. The fat ass 540i never stood a chance

North Circuit

Smooth ;)

When I went on a trackday. I had a go in a subaru with an instructor. First lap he didnt say a word. I drove as fast as I could and was basically all over the place and slow.

Second lap he talked me through it where to brake and settle the car and what lines to take etc. Needless to say the difference was amazing.

Exactly - having the inside knowledge passed on from someone who properly knows the track makes such a difference.

I'd have been turning in at the cone at the Bekham Esses all day long if it weren't for him telling me to go in earlier and use the throttle to pull the front through.

Much quicker, much more stable.

This was from before that.

Can't decide if I should just have it re-set as is on standard springs/dampers, or go the whole hog and whack on some Bilsteins while I'm at it.
