Peugeot 308
So after selling the car over 4 Years ago, I'd always wandered 'is it still alive and well...etc'.
3 weeks ago, on a boring saturday night I was just browsing ebay at the usual rubbish, and fook me sideways, found my old 172 on there!
Needless to say, the next day, after a 340mile round trip...she was back home with me
Now, I got the car for a fair price, this being as from what I could see at the time, It needed a fair amount of TLC aswell as a major service inc belts.
Needless to say, its been a busy few weeks!
On the way back home...my Saxo making its final trip it my ownership! A little bit sad its gone, as tbh...it was a fantastic little car!
And the Clio back... Looking grubby and generally abit sorry for itself.
After a wash, I then set about doing the 1st little bits and bobs on the car.
* Wind deflectors (Abit marmite but I like)
* Bosch Aero Blades (Every car I buy has shocking wiper blades!)
* Saxo washer jets (Mist type)
I also had to re-attach the front of the side skirts properly, I guess someone had attempted/jacked the car up on them before :S
I also got a touch up stick to attack any little stone chips with.
Tango to de-tango!
Next was LED sidelight bulbs and HID's.
Sidelights... (Note, the bonnet is open, its not horrendous gaping lol)
HID's.
Next was for the bit spend for the service, belts etc...
After many considerations about where to get them done to, I was recommmended Danlp6 off the forum. So off to Glastonbury it went for him to get grubby with!
Dan highlighted some of the issues the car had, some minor and some borderline stupid... Main one for me, being the car needed a sump!
Here's a pic of someones bodged attempt at sorting the leak....
The leak was getting worse, and after plastering my mates BMW (LOL) on the way home, I informed Dan.
Thankfully, he sourced me a sump, and life-savingly would fit it for me the following day!
This part is called '*****-ing about' in a rush.
* Note - The Skoda splitter that Dan also fitted whilst it was in for its make over. :star:
After a laugh about the engine bay (its been hand painted yellow :dead: + looks incredibly shite) I made plans to get busy with some more parts and painting!
Bye Bye rubbish Pirelli P6000's...
Hello Pilot Exalto 2's  (Excuse the car being filthy)
